Mario Vernazza
Mario plays Venerio. He is a British/Italian actor based in Los Angeles and London. He trained at Rose Bruford College in London and has worked extensively in theatre, film and TV both in the UK and the US. Films include The da'Vinci code and Nine. He has voiced the character of Vult Skerris in the animated series Star Wars Rebels for Disney. He also teaches Commedia dell'Arte and mask work and is a faculty member at Theatre of Arts school in Los Angeles.
Chiara Fumanti
Chiara plays the waitress in Venerio. She is an Italian actress who moved to London in 2014. She trained at KSA Academy of Performing Arts. Credits include: Ensemble in Sweeney Todd (Cockpit Theatre, London & The Space@Surgeon’s Hall, Edinburgh), Mrs Macaw in The Rainforest (TIE Tour), Jess in The Acapella Killers (Courtyard Theatre, London) and Rafaela in Elegies for Angels, Punks And Raging Queens (Tramshed Theatre Woolwich, London). Chiara is thrilled to be part of the Amelia Project!
Beth Crane
Beth Crane plays Ali. She writes and plays Kilner in We Fix Space Junk, the flagship podcast of Battle Bird Productions. We Fix Space Junk follows the lives of two female repairmen travelling around the universe, fixing things and trying not to get killed in the process. Beth grew up listening to radio drama of all kinds. After completing a Master’s Degree in Scriptwriting she focused on the short play and sketch format, starting We Fix Space Junk in 2018 with her partner, sound engineer Hedley Knights.
James Oliva
James plays Alex. He is the writer/creator/director of the psychedelic noir audio drama podcast “What's The Frequency?”. In addition he has appeared in many other podcasts as a voice actor. Most notably as the voice of Michael Tate on the audio drama podcast “Greater Boston”, Robert Montague on “Tides” and Scott Sweet on “1994” and Azrael on “Minefire”. He's also had guest appearances on “ars Paradoxica”, “The Strange Case of Starship Iris”, “Alba Salix”, “Lake Clarity”, “Big Data”, “Jim Robbie and the Wanderers”, “Oakpodcast”, “The Haven Chronicles”, and “Radiation World”. He has also worked as director and sound designer for the podcast short “Old Fashioned Hell House” written by Jonathan Goldberg.
Joseph Grimaldi
Joseph Grimaldi plays Etienne Duclos. Joseph was an English actor, comedian and dancer, who became the most popular English entertainer of the Regency era. In the early 1800s, he expanded the role of Clown in the harlequinade that formed part of British pantomimes, notably at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane and the Sadler's Wells and Covent Garden theatres. He became so dominant on the London comic stage that the harlequinade role of Clown became known as "Joey", and both the nickname and Grimaldi's whiteface make-up design were, and still are, used by other types of clowns. Grimaldi originated catchphrases such as "Here we are again!", which continue to feature in modern pantomimes. Joseph is very excited to be part of The Amelia Project.

Stanley Kuschick
Stanley Kuschick plays Tony di Pasqua in season 2 and took over the part of Joey in 2022. He is an American actor with an absolute passion for performing. Stanley has credits in musical theater, film, animation and video game productions, and is always eager to do more with his love of the arts. Ever in pursuit of his own dreams, he aims to make an impact through his work so that he may inspire others the same way others inspired him. Stanley also has a Youtube channel where he uploads new content every week. Felix Trench plays Bartholomew BEEP-face Chucklepants Knucklecracker in season 2 and Phil in the live recording from PodUK. He has also guest written the episode “Poquelin” in season 5 in which he plays the titular character. Felix is a British actor. His audio work includes Wooden Overcoats (Wooden Overcoats Ltd.) and Zombies, Run! (Six to Start) as well as a number of other podcast dramas and sitcoms. Her “What were you wearing?” sketch for Tracey Ullman was featured in the New York Times, Huffington Post, Mirror, Metro and more, with over 35 million views on Facebook and was BBC Comedy’s highest rated video of 2017.
Layla Katib
Layla plays Anna. She is a British actress currently based in Oxford. She is best known as the voice of Clara Entwhistle in the podcast “Victoriocity”, for which she was nominated for an Audio Verse award. Other voice over credits include “The Lights of Witchywood”, “Castle of Horror” and “A Little Bedtime Horror”. In 2017 she originated the roles of Kate and Jenny in “The Sgt Pepper Show” (Eleven One Theatre), a fusion of theatre and music focusing on the final days of Brian Epstein. Karim Kronfli
Karim plays John. He has been a professional performer for more than 20 years, originally working as a medieval entertainer. With plays and film added to his professional repertoire, Karim now loves directing as much as performing. Trained at City Lit in London after first working behind the microphone at BFBS, he specializes in narration and audio drama. He has a powerful and flexible voice, capable of delivering a wide range of characters. He has also appeared in "What's The Frequency", "A Scottish Podcast", and "Witchhunter: The Beast of the Western Wilds”.
Alex Scott Fairley
Alex plays Ant. He is a stage actor who studied English at Jesus College, Oxford. Alex's recent theater credits include appearing at Pitlochry Festival Theatre as Mary Sunshine in Chicago, James Joyce in Travesties, and Lieutenant Spicer in Quality Street. In previous seasons there he has appeared in High Society, Absurd Person Singular, People, The Ruling Class, A Chorus of Disapproval, Lady Windermere’s Fan and Hello, Dolly! Thomas plays Richard. He is an actor of stage and screen, and graduate of the University of Bath and Drama Studio London. He has worked extensively in theatre, including work at Stafford Shakespeare Festival, The King’s Head Theatre and numerous touring productions. He is an experienced audiobook reader and voiceover artist; he has narrated over 100 audiobook titles, including works by Bernard Cornwell, Tony Parsons and Enid Blyton.
Valentina Alexeeva
Valentina Alexeeva plays Marya in the Patreon exlusive episode “Marya & Daria” and appears as an agent in the episode “Ant”. She is a Russian/Norwegian freelance actress based in Oslo. She began with theatre at the age of four and since then been on many stages in Norway, Russia and USA. She has also done several TV-shows and films. She is part of the ensemble of the Oslo improv theatre Impro Neuf. Her work includes Lillyhammer (NRK), Helt Perfekt (TV-Norge) and feature film Headhunters (Yellow Bird).
Antigoni Spanou
Antigoni Spanou plays Alexandra in season 3 and appears in the episode “Ant” in season 2. She moved to the UK from Greece at the age of 19. She trained as a performer at Rose Bruford College and has been working professionally and internationally since her graduation in 2007. She is a Creative Practitioner with The Lab Collective as well as an independent performer and theatre-maker. She creates work that is intimate, emotive and interactive at its core, that generates a shared experience for all.
Gavin Gaddis
Gavin Gaddis appears in the episode “Ant”. He is an American actor based in the cultural wasteland of southern Indiana. He has been acting sporadically since a desperate director dragged him into playing James Cagney in community theater production of Shakespeare in Hollywood. To this day he has yet to develop a working James Cagney impression. He currently produces and voices bit parts in the hopepunk science fiction audio drama Standard Docking Procedure. When not acting he works as a freelance podcast journalist and critic.
Nerys Howell
Nerys Howell appears in the episode “Ant”. She is from west Wales, and is a native Welsh speaker. She has a BA in Italian Studies, and also enjoys dabbling in many other languages. She recently started to dip her toe into voice acting, and her first roles include parts in Quirky Voices' MADCAP anthology series, and season two of The Beacon. She will also be playing Emma in the upcoming fiction podcast Y2K.
Lala Drona
Lala Drona appears in the episode “Ant”. She is a Venezuelan-American painter and videaste, born in Denver, Colorado. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado, Lala Drona has since published and exhibited her work from North America to South America, and from Western Europe to Asia. Her paintings, videos, and writing explore the themes of identity, women’s bodily experience, and the Internet's effect on society, all media combining together to create a surrealistic and dystopian universe. Sarah West
Sarah appears in the episode “Ant”. She lives in Adelaide, South Australia, where she teaches high school English, Drama and Psychology. As a child she attended Theatre Bugs, before going onto become a teacher there, and majored in Drama at Flinders University. She has taught performing arts in both public and independent schools, and in private classes and workshops, often writing and directing original plays, musicals and short films for her students. Her amateur theatre roles include Cruella DeVil in “101 Dalmatians”, Hermia in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” and Aldonza in “Man of La Mancha.” Sarah is a critic for the Adelaide Theatre Guide, and also writes pop culture criticism and personal essays at her blog TopFiveRecords.net.

Tom Crowley
Tom plays Andy. He is a writer, actor and comedian based in London, best known for playing Aston Lange in The Royals (E!), writing and performing (as Eric Chapman) in the Prix Europa-nominated podcast sitcom Wooden Overcoats (available now on all podcast platforms), and as the playwright behind the stage adaptation of the Rocky Horror sequel, Shock Treatment (King’s Head, 2015). His modernised adaptation of Charles Dickens's Great Expectations was published by Methuen in 2017. For BBC Radio Comedy, Tom has been heard in Four Sad Faces, The Lentil Sorters and The Brig Society. Emily Stride plays Amber. She is a British actress who has been performing since she was a grasshopper, firstly on BBC radio. Recently she has provided voices for podcasts such as Victoriocity, We Fix Space Junk and The Unseen Hour, and she plays the circus ringmistress Marlene Magdelena in Wooden Overcoats. She has been killed by a chestburster in Audible’s ‘Alien: River of Pain’ audio drama, and fought against fascists in the ‘Eastenders Podcast’ for BBC Sounds. On TV she has appeared in Emmerdale (ITV), Temple (Sky 1), The Night Manager (BBC) and The Worst Witch (ITV). On Stage she has graduated from playing the ingenue to playing the bad guy. Which is great. Emily is delighted to be joining Amelia for a live recording from PodUK 2020.
